Growfast Hosts Seminar on “Innovation Strategies in the Chinese Environment” Exploring the Future of Arab-led Projects in China
On Friday, October 31, 2025, Growfast held a seminar titled “Innovation Strategies in the Chinese Environment,”which examined the landscape of innovation in China, its different models, and the opportunities and challenges facing Arab entrepreneurs operating within one of the world’s fastest-growing and most competitive markets.
The session featured Mr. Abdulmalek Al-Haddad, Business Development Consultant, and Mr. Malek Aggiag, Entrepreneur and Company Founder, who shared practical insights based on hands-on experience in building and managing businesses in China. Their discussion focused on how Arab innovators can adapt their ideas to fit the dynamics of the Chinese business ecosystem.
The speakers addressed key themes, including:
- The differences between innovation models in China and the Arab region
- Common challenges faced by Arab entrepreneurs (language, regulations, work culture, and networking)
- Practical solutions for launching scalable and sustainable ventures in the Chinese market
Both speakers emphasized that understanding the logic of Chinese innovation is no longer optional, but an essential requirement for any entrepreneur seeking market entry or business partnerships in the country.
The seminar concluded with an open Q&A session, where participants discussed topics such as business setup procedures, building professional networks, and identifying investment and partnership opportunities inside China.

GroFast has announced the successful completion of the first stage of the “Arab Innovator” competition, held in its inaugural edition dedicated to developing sustainable solutions for challenges faced by the Arab community in China. The competition received significant attention, with 83 innovative projects submitted from various Arab countries. Of these, 23 projects—representing 28%—qualified for the second stage after meeting the initial requirements and aligning with the competition’s objectives.
